Well, today went way to quickly. I only had a few moments to sit and concentrate on a page that has been working in my head for a few days. I must say it did not turn out at all like I had hoped (but when do they....?). I have an idea for a second page but not sure when I will get around to it. The title might also change as I have not stuck this done and if I can find the other photos for the second page, then I will need a more suitable title

A Page for Skye

We have a niece (my sisters daughter), she is very hard to get a photo of when Uncle Scotty has the camera out. Which is a real shame for me, as I never have much to scrapbook (of her).

I set a challenge to make a project with blue, white and orange and do not ask me why but these photos just happened to suit beautifully. Love being able to do girly pages/projects. And especially of Skye.

All products used are Kaszazz. I must say, I am a little over making those roses. They took a long time to make. The page design itself was quite simple. I have used a couple of NEWLY released products, Autumn Rockpool (SB paper is the background page), and the new 12" lace border die. Denim, blue jay, white and butterscotch essential papers have been used for matting and making flowers. Some sticky bling has been added also.

TTD Masterclass Projects

Well, this team training day, brought us a new Class type - The 4 Hour Masterclass. These classes are specifically designed for the more advanced customer. Having said that, the class shown here could be done by a beginner with help from a caring consultant.

Masterclasses are run like our existing workshops. Only difference is there is more products, materials, tools and time needed. All workshops should run for more than two hours and should not exceed four hours. Some knowledge on basic tool use would be a massive advantage. These projects are stunning and well worth the time and effort that goes into them. When making these cards, on Sunday each and every lady, could not believe how beautiful these cards looked and how stunning they were in the boxes. Great satisfaction was achieved by all who attended.

Busy, Busy, Busy.....

Just when you think life cannot get anymore busier, life takes and interesting turn. We have had all sorts of wonderful, not so wonderful and some very challenging moments over the last few months. Christmas was an interesting time all by itself. Birthdays. Let me just say, there is a total of 8 birthdays just in our family (and extended family). And to make the birthdays more exciting the kids had a few extra invites that we had to squeeze in. New years was probably our most quiet moment. Which I am not upset about. A lovely friend (and fellow consultant) joined me in some much needed scraping. It was bliss. The scrapbooking/creative mojo lasted three more days and I achieved a mountain of amazing projects to show you. So, as time goes by I will show them to you.

Since, then I have been getting ready for Team Training Day. I love these events. I have great pleasure in sharing my home and family with fellow consultants, and sharing awesome new stamps, papers and products. More on these over the following days and weeks.

For now, here is a frame that I managed to put together for TTD, with the amazing new products.

Josh Pretending to be Harry

Well, with the kids home and less running around to do and lots to finish before Christmas, I took sometime to complete a page for Josh. This year, he became obsessed with Harry Potter. And for a while (about three months in the middle of the year), he took, to dressing like Harry and taking his wand everywhere. This photo was taken at our nephew Jack's 1st birthday in August.

I started off with a piece of vanillia, coffee and Essential card. Spritzed the vanilla with Gold Glow smooch spritz and some pumice stone refill in a mini mister. Stamping done in Vintage photo and Barn Door Distress Inks. Chipboard covered with Frayed Burlap and Walnut stain Distress inks. Buttons are from the earth tone set.

Oh boy, did this take way longer than expected. Hubby came home last night from work and asked me to "whip up a quick sliding card for a time out bar". I laughed at him. At 8pm he asked when I was going to start as he needed it for this morning. So after some playing with measurements and designs 3.5 hours later, this was the finished product. Not quite what I would have done. However, hubby kept giving me details as I was in creative mode and things had to keep changing. Lots of fun to make (and lots of tape later), this was the final product.

Massive apologies for being away for so long. Life has taken some interesting turns in the last month. All is getting there slowly. Unfortunately I am not sure I will not have a lot of time for this blog over the next two or three weeks. I will get back asap, after New Years, In the meantime, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very safe, happy, and healthy New Year. I had fun today putting them together, and cannot wait to get together with a group of ladies to show them how lovely these cards really are. They are simplier than they look. Great cutting skills is the most important skill needed. If you have never heat embossed before, you will soon be an expert as each of the images are gold embossed.

Black Purple and Orange Combo

I have seen lots of projects in this colour combo recently. Mainly Halloween projects. I have loved the colour combo but was not really thrilled with the idea of doing something halloween themed. This is what I came up with, using black embossing again. (Mainly because it was still on the table from yesterday.). I Love the Sakura Kaszazz stamps. This large one, is one of my favs. It has so many uses and looks amazing with very little work.

This morning, I had the sudden urge to play with Black embossing powder. Why? I have no idea. But none, the less, I got the jar of powder out and played. This is what I came up with. Not exactly what I was expecting. Sometimes that is a good thing. I have had fun and enjoyed playing and that is the best part of creating. Who knows this might lead to me having more fun with Black embossing.

Well, this took my a while to work out what I was going to do. After some searching and finding lots of detailed patterns, I decided to alter one to make it a lot simpler and easier to make. I am really happy with the finished card. I have used paper from the Enchanted range, sticky bling and dotty organdy ribbon and Distress ink (of course). Nothing is really complete without distress ink. Or is that just me lol...?

This is a really simple design. Nothing too hard. I have also made one in Christmas papers. Unfortunately a friend has borrowed it, to show her mum. So, no photo to share just yet.

Well, I made it back. Glossy card has come to my "need to have" list. I am falling in love with it all over again. Not as easy to stamp on. BUT boy can you get some amazing looks with different inks. These cards were "just me playing". I am so impressed with how they turned out. There is another 9 that go with them. Loving the amazing look glossy can give. Well, life has been busy and I am trying hard to catch up. We have done two markets in a fortnight and had an amazing time. I think I am finally becoming a market junkie lol...

The best news is as of today, we have welcomed a new team member to our growing team. A BIG WELCOME, goes to Shannan. We are looking forward to you being apart of our team. We also, have a returning member Vanessa. Vanessa re joined us almost a month ago.

This layout was created for the Kaszazz Challenge Group (on facebook). The challenge was to created a layout using white black and one other colour. This was lots of fun to create. I have a second page going through my head but have other work to do, so will sketch it out and save for a later date. I still need to add journalling and am contemplating some ribbon. This card too ages and I am still not really happy with it. I can see a few things I would change. However, the important thing is I attempted it and gave it a go.

Life has been busy passing me by, for quite sometime. Trying to catch up on things that mean alot have started to take priority. Thank goodness. Family has become my number one (this includes really close friends) and crafting is right up there at number two. So here is my latest little creation. This cute little bag was made for the Kaszazz Creative Challenge Group on Facebook. This challenge was a BINGO challenge. (to find out more pop on over to the group). I found this more difficult than I first thought it was going to be. However, after lots of not so interesting creations, I came up with this little bag. Really simple and fun to make.

Now, for all those who have asked hubby is doing better. Not great but better.

He is back at work and walking without assistance. Hobbling and still

with pain. Only time will tell how successful the operation was.

Good news. Team Training day will be upon us again really soon. I will be hosting TTD again. YAY. Love these events. Lots of fun and amazing Kaszazz consult

Project In the works

well, here are a few of the workshops, I have been playing with and testing, with a group of wonderful ladies I teach every Monday. I am still working on perfecting the instructions. Then there will be more testing. (And possibly more writing). I love creating. That is were my passion lies. I live for the moments of quietness, that allows me to spend time with my supplies and my images that fly around in my head. I would love my day to be filled with nothing but time to create and play with ideas and products. To get paid for that would be my ultimate dream. However, that is a dream that is a long long long way off from happening.

An Interesting Week

this week has brought a few extra challenges to our lives. Hubby had surgery on Tuesday, and will now be off of work for a minimum of two weeks (most likely six weeks - still to be determined). He is home now and is recovering slowly. This has meant, I have had to slow things down with classes from home and me running about. I will be back up and running at usual pace as soon as things slow down here.

My boys start school holidays in just over a week and that will hopefully mean I will be able to get back into my favourite room to craft to my hearts content. (Only time will tell).

I have a few projects that I have had fun playing with. If time allows I will pop past and post some pics for you.

Classes will be running (hopefully) from next week and over the holidays. As, soon as I have had a chance to look at the new projects on line I will let you know what we will be up too.

Oh, while I remember, If you are fan of Kaszazz on facebook, you may have been lucky enough to see my double layout of my niece. Kaszazz are using it as an advertisement for new projects. I was really excited to see it there.

Hi all, if you are a consultant and have found yourself taken off my friends list on facebook, please do not take it personally. I have decided to keep my personal life and Kaszazz business/hobby as two seperate parts of my life. As, they should be. I still have by Kaszazz Creative Challenge group and you will find me there if you need me or wish to converse with me in anyway. My life is needing me to step back and re assess what is important. MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND CREATING are really high on my list of priorities. I am still running my regular workshops from home on Friday evenings and my community class on Monday afternoons. If you would like to know more about these please let me know and I will pass on the details.

SUITCASE. This little creation has had me email bombarded with lots of emails and lots of comments and discussions on Facebook. I have therefore decided I will write it up as a workshop, test it and submit it as soon as possible. Please give me some time to do this. I am going to have to work out how to make it fit into the specs for a workshop. And the timing needs to be perfected for a group activity.

I've been busy.... Creating

Got to love long cold weekends. I have had an amazing time hanging out with family and doing all the wonderful indoor things. Which ment I had a great opportunity to finish this fortnights challenge early. This fortnights challenge was DISTRESS. I had no idea what I was going to do. After lots of thinking and getting prepared to start another double layout, I came across a cute little suitcase in a magazine and all the measurements were the. I had to give it ago, and managed to do it all in Kaszazz products. I got so carried away with how cute the suitcase turned out, I lined it and made a little fold out book to go with it. I distress all the edges with Vintage photo distress ink. The straps for the suitcase are covered in distress crackle paint. The little books edges have all been distress with the distress tool and vintage photo distress ink. I had a blast making this project. Now to decide what to do with it. (oh, if you are interested all the words and images are travel rubons).

Blue and White Inspired Cards

These cards were created for the Kaszazz Creative Challenge Page on Facebook. The theme for this fortnight is Asian/Oriental, any creation you like (as long as it is using all Kaszazz products). I was a little lost at what to do. However, when going through a stack of dishes, I was inspired to stamp a page in all blues with the new asian inspired stamp range. I had lots of fun deciding on what inks to use. In the end Distress Inks won. Five shades of blue have been used. Copen Stain ribbon and Antique Rhinestone Brads and Crystal Ice Stickles have finished off the cards.

Wow, I am super excited about these albums. Kaszazz has perfect timing. I have almost filled my current album. How pretty does the Strawberry colour look? I think I am going to have to have a pink one. Oh, I might even have to have one of the new fabric ones just to see what they are like.

Kaszazz has also released another 24 essential 12x12 papers in awesome colours. And to top it off a gold and silver paper. I seriously think I will be placing my order as soon as possible.

Well, this was a challenge for me as I had forgotten about this fortnights challenge and started on a completely different challenge. How ridiculous, since I set the challenges? Thanks to a fellow Kaszazz Consultant - Simone Slater, from Tasmania, I have had lots of fun blending and playing with different landscape ideas. I was in awe of Simones Blended sunset cards for a long time. I had seen samples of them over a year ago. I had spent sometime playing with the idea, before Simones project got accepted and published with Kaszazz. As soon as I saw them online I knew I had to do them. They are so much fun and a lot easier then they look. If you are interested in learning this technique please feel free to contact me and we can organise a time to get together. Oh, this was a lot of fun. Just wished I had finished it in time for the Team Training Day competition. Oh, well, was not ment to be...lol. This double layout was a lot of fun. I enjoyed making it. I have used Smooch Spritz, Distress Embossing Powders, Distress Inks, Buttons Earth Tones, Circular Stamp from a set, Sticky Weird Letters, Flourish chipboard and boy rub ons. And of course Essential 12 x 12 card stock.

For those of you who did not know, Yes, I did happen to go on holidays over the past 8 days. It was just what I needed to refresh my head and step back from the daily schedules and happenings. Kaszazz has a beautiful flourish background stamp. (4398KQ Flourish Background). From the moment I saw it I knew it had to be part of my (growing) collection. I think I have had it for about 4 months (if not more). Just before conference, I made myself, sit down and play with it. I had always wanted to see it embossed. And I was right, and embossing it was the right thing to do. It is stunning embossed. I have played around with a few colours and a few designs. Today, I finished off two cards that had been sitting here with nothing on them. I have a feeling this maybe made into a workshop (depending on how the other cards turn out).

Well, I few of you have sent messages asking what the pocket pages looked like, that I had made for the conference competition. So, here it is. How gorgeous is my niece? Love her to bits. My hubby took these photos at a recent family event. I think he did an absolutely amazing job. More photos taken from hubby, are in a big pile waiting for me to scrap. Hubby, recently purchased a new camera, and is finding any excuse to use it. I must admit, I love taking photos with it too.

Okay, back to cleaning for me.

Conference Competition Entry

Back again, this time with the entry I used for Conference. All entries for conference need to include something using the ezy press. All the circles used for this layout were cut using the ezy press. I actually made this into a double layout using Kaszazz' s pocket pages. Love using pocket pages. They are great for multiple photos and real easy to decorate with the left overs from the original page.

My layout did not even come close to winning. To many amazing projects by other amazingly creative consultants made the judging extremely difficult. I must say I was extremely greatful, I was not one of the judges.

Well I will be back soon with more amazing conference photos to share. Oh, I have not shown any of the groovy 1950's inspired products Kaszazz has to offer. I will hopefully be back later tonight or early tomorrow, with some great things to show you. Until then, have fun creating!!! xxxx

Conference ATC swap

Back already!! heheheheh. During conference we had a lot of challenges and swaps that we could choose to be a part of. I chose to be apart of two of them. The first was an ATC swap (and that is what I will be sharing with you all now). Our ATC's had to include paper from the Foundations range. Loving this range. So very pretty and feminine. I actually made to ATC's that looked very similar. The blue one I made for the KASZAZZ CREATIVE SWAP FACEBOOK GROUP. The mulberry coloured one is the one I made in bulk for the conference swap. Hope you like them

Wow, the past few months have been very interesting and a massive amount of things and offers have come into my life. I have to say. I am starting to realise my passions are for creating and I have missed my time spent on here showing you all the things I have created. Time has flown by. I am going to get back into sharing and showing you all what it is I have been up to. You will notice a few changes, once I start putting photos back up. They will have a watermark on them with my name on it. After my last post I was a little disappointed that there were a few people out they taking my photos and claiming them as there own on their blogs, or they had taken my photos and not mentioned where the photos were from. This confused not only me but a few of my loyal , lovely customers were sending me messages about it.

Moving on. CONFERENCE 2011, WAS AMAZING. Kaszazz are an amazing company with lots of great rewards and exciting products that are being added to on a regular basis. Now is the most amazing time to join Kaszazz. If you would like to join Kaszazz there is no better time. Get of your seat and ring your nearest consultant. The amazing offer will only be available for an extremely short time and if I was not a consultant I would be signing up again in a heart beat.

Kaszazz Creative Challenge No 1 2011

The challenge set out for this fortnight, was to create anything you like. However, it must include stripes. I originally planned on making a layout, which has been playing in my head. Time, has gotten away from me since it is still school holidays. So, after some blog hopping and internet searching (a fav pastime), I came across a card that had a pocket on the front to place a gift card. I thought it was rather cute and gave it ago, on some bright orange bazzill. Once it was finished, I thought I may as well finish it off and decided stripes would be the go (remebering the challenge due Sunday). This definately is not a combination of colours I would normally use. Have fun creating. I should be a back soon!!

These two cute projects are from Kaszazz's new Quick kits. LOVE THEM. QUICK is not a lie. Each of these projects took less then 3o minutes from beginning to end. How easy? It has been a while but you have not been forgotten. Wow, we had a very special Christmas break as a family. Hubby has only just gone back to work. My precious boys have another few weeks and then they are back to school. I was very spoilt for Christmas and received a Cricut Imagine. (I have sold my beloved Cricut, and although it will not be going far from home, I know I will miss it). I have been given lots of great opportunities, which I will share with you all over the coming months. Things are going to get really busy, and I am looking forward to the challenges it is going to offer.

I'm Back

Hi everyone, I apologise for my absence. Our lives were turned upside down about 3 weeks ago when my aunty's live was ended suddenly. It has hit us all really hard. We are now coming to terms with everything and I am trying to hide myself in amongst my wonderful craft supplies. It is amazing what you can acheive when you need to hide away for a little while.

So, I have completed the last creative challenge. I have used the Cyan Jade paper and the Kasz Rub ons Alphabet and numbers in white. Butterscotch essential has been used behind the paper and Blue jay had been used behind a couple of the photos. Olive has been used to punch the butterflies and then some vellum has been added over the top to soften them. Stickles has been added to the wings for a little touch of bling. First time in ages I have scrapped something that is not a human. Result was a lot better then first imagined. Hope you like it!!

Kaszazz Creative Challenge

Well, it has been a while, but we are back into the swing of the creative challenges. The recent challenge was to create a single page layout using one colour. Shades of one colour. I originally thought this was going to be really difficult and i have been putting off doing it. Then last night, I went it is time to knuckle down and do it. So I pulled out my plain coloured papers and worked out i had more green. Suprised? I was. .... Then i went to perfect pearls, gems, flowers, inks etc... Started off making atc's, as i thought that would get me thinking green. Next I decided why not put the atc's on the page. This is the final outcome...

Well, it is over. I have had so much fun playing and enjoying the new products. Kaszazz have really been listening to what their consultants have really been wanting. The new papers are beautiful and are suitable for both male and females. New, rub ons are in colours and are amazingly easy to rub on. Cute adorable animals and fairies are not just available in the rub ons but also in matching stamps. Kaszazz now has two exclusive rollagraph wheels - one has the cute adorable animals. The other has butterflies. The same butterflies are also available on their own stamp. Oh, it feels as though this release is endless.

I was lucky enough to host this TTD. So, I have been eagerly waiting to be able to share. I have loved the endless projects and ideas that have come out.

Playing with Travel Scraps

Here is 1 of a few designs I have been playing with. I had a lot of left overs from some previous workshops and decided it was time to create something with them. Tina Wright over at http://www.scrapknack.com/ (another fellow consultant), had made some really impressive cards with the same papers. It is amazing at how versatile, this paper can really be. I have come up with a few more designs since this one. (Suprisingly). I think they may make it onto my turn into a workshop list. (Which is, unfortunately, getting really long). Hope I can get to them soon.

Welcome to the world "baby Jack". Baby Jack is my 1st nephew ( I already have 3 nieces). Jack (named after my grandfather), is my twin sisters 2nd child. This beautiful little man graced us with his presence two weeks early via emergency c section on the 9th August. This little boy only weighed just over 5 pounds.

This page was inspired by the "sweet as" enchanted workshop, I held a couple of weeks ago. Hope my sister likes this page. She will be getting it for her birthday in December!!

1st ATC Swap

I finally gave in a decided to participate in my 1st ATC swap. The theme for this month was "things with wings".. Kaszazz has so many options for this theme. I found it super hard, to narrow down what it was that I wanted to use. But finally I decided to use the Dogwood rollagraph. It is my favourite rollagraph wheel (that I own). So what do you think? It was alot of fun. Hopefully I will be able to participate in a few more swaps before the end of the year.

How exciting are these new products???? I know, that most of them are on my wish list. Especially the reindeer and the sleigh punches. Oh, and maybe the snowflake. And I just love all the sticky blings so, these will have to be on my order too. I will be placing an order tomorrow evening. So, if I can help you out with anything please let me know asap. I am hanging out for the full release. Which, reminds me, I have agreeed to run the next Team Training Day with Heidi. We will be running it on the 19th September. If you are interested please let me know asap. Cost is $35 and you must bring along a shared lunch. RSVP's close on the 22nd August. Get in quickly places are filling fast.

Well, i have played around with the new Christmas stamps and I have had a complete ball. Love most of them, and can say I now own most of them. Kaszazz Creative Challenge No.13

I have had lots of fun playing with my rollagraphs. They are very easy to use. Fantastic for backgrounds. And come in a great variety of wheels. (Some of the wheel designs are also available in Design Adhesives). My favourite, wheel at the moment is botanical tiles. This is my latest creation, using this wheel.Challenge No 14 is all about Christmas!! So bring out those Christmas inspired products and have a play. Kaszazz has a wide variety of products that are perfect for Christmas projects. Our glitters and embossing powders are ideal for these festive projects.

Christmas in July release 2010

oh, my goodness, I am loving this release. My original plan was to scan the brochure, to show, you the wonderful stamps. Instead, I am having too much fun with the stamps. So, I think as I create some new creations I will just upload them for you to see instead. The pointsettia, stamp is gorgeous. I have been having amazing fun playing with this. I think these may end up as workshop submission. Gorgeous and simple.

I have also used the Christmas Rubons. LOVE THEM

Challenge 12 2010 photos

Yeah, I finally have the pictures up!! For some reason, everytime I went to post the images, blogger was turning them sideways. It seems to be ok now. These few cards were for "cute as a bug" challenge number 12. I have used the stampes from the cute as a bug stamp set and coloured them in with smooch. Black gel pen has been used to hand draw all the dots and lines. The fancy flourishes are rub ons.

Kaszazz Creative Challenge No 13

Time to set the next challenge. ROLLAGRAPHS. Anything you like but you must use a rollagraph somewhere. Kaszazz has so many to choose from. In my recent cleaning spree, I found out I own, ALOT, of rollagraph wheels and some of them are fabulous!!!! I am desperate to find sometime to make some great (hopefully) creations, and thought this would ensure I would.

As, for the last challenge, I have had a few issues trying to upload the photos. I will try again late tomorrow when I have more time. If you have sometime and would like to see the photos, I have already uploaded them to the Facebook group, Kaszazz Creative Challenge.
